No I didn't strike gold but I did find my fleece jacket, car keys and drivers license.
I found myself loosing my mind, my jacket, ID, and keys all in one week. I knew I had all three of them in my house before they all went missing therefore, I became incredibly frustrated and upset that I couldn't find them anywhere. Oh and I forgot that I also lost $20 bucks. I still haven't found that 20 dollar bill but that fact that everything else showed up makes up for the lost money.
As I became so bummed, confused and utterly stumped on where these items could've walked off to I soon stumbled upon all three items within 10 minutes of each other. Seriously, I searched for days all over the house, I couldn't find them anywhere. My first find was the car keys. As I was putting away the yoga mats in the basket I moved some blocks and low and behold there were the keys (probably placed there by some little hands, Ruby's hands.) I then went into the guest room closet for the umpteenth time in search of this fleece and in the corner behind STUFF I saw something brown and fuzzy, ah ha my fleece coat. Next I walked into our laundry closet and on the floor was my ID. Which bafels me b/c I spend many minutes/hours every day walking into and out of this laundry closet since that is what I do as a stay at home mom with 2 toddler kids, LAUNDRY!!!!!.
Why did everything appear in one day, why did they all appear within minutes of each other? I don't know why but I have to say I am so thankful that this mystery is over. I have been so upset with my forgetfulness, I feel like my brain is melting away from my head and body. I'm not sure why it all happened but I am incredibly thankful that I have all of my belongings back in their proper home. My head seems to be back in it's proper place, maybe not as secure as it once was but at least it is there and functioning. Thank you everyone for helping me out and giving me that reassurance that I needed.
