Then & Now
Then - February 20th 2008
Now - February 20th 2011
A wonderful day filled with family, friends, sun & warmth and snow yes SNOW. The evening was freezing cold, there was enough moisture in the air and poof snow sprinkled the mountain tops. Thanks to our neighbors/friends, they came over with a bucket full of snow, the kids had a blast with snow balls and the kids who were teething thought it was the best remedy yet. The day couldn't have been more perfect.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILO. MOMMY DADDY & RUBY LOVE YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!!

Pool Day-Girl Day
Today was a father son and mother daughter day. Eric took Milo to his 1st of 5 art classes and I took Ruby to the Bacara Resort with our friends Kelsey and her daughter Elodie. Ruby & Elodie are 3 months apart and they were the cutest little girls swimming in the pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi. I couldn't snap any pool photos due to my wet hand but I did manage to get some of the girls in the colorful Fuzzi Bunz diapers while they were having fun exploring the stairs.
Thanks for the fun day at the pool ladies.
We've got a layer
Congratulations Dupree, you are now laying eggs. Dupree took her sweet time to start giving us eggs, her counter parts, Jenny Jenkins and Peggy-O have been happily giving us eggs for months and we thought that maybe just maybe that Dupree was a bunk Hen. NOPE! We had her out in the yard in an enclosed space and I noticed she was pacing around and not looking very happy. We let them all out and she soon went into the coop and 30 minutes later she came springing out and yep sure enough an egg was in the box.
Thanks Dupree, we now get 3 eggs a day.
